As our Business Development Representative, your role will be crucial in driving the vision of Resourcify and promoting a sustainable future as being the initial entry point for our future prospects. In this pivotal role, you'll serve as an ambassador for Resourcify, embodying our mission and inspiring others to join us on this transformative journey. By nurturing connections and demonstrating the benefits of our vision, you'll help shape a future where circularity is the norm.

Your mission:
- You identify and research potential prospects, with a focus on enterprise customers and large SMBs (>$50 million in revenue).
- You prequalify potential customers based on defined criteria to ensure alignment with Resourcify’s vision and solution.
- You conduct initial discovery calls and meetings with interested customers, delivering compelling pitches that spark interest and build strong business relationships.
- You collaborate closely with Account Executives to hand over qualified opportunities, ensuring seamless transitions by providing clear documentation and context.
- You work data driven, maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, meticulously tracking all touchpoints and insights in our CRM system - your best friend in the world ;)
- You work in close collaboration with Revenue Operations and Marketing to:
- Design and execute strategic outbound campaigns tailored to key verticals and personas.
- Define, cluster, and refine Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and target segments based on market insights and data.
- Improve and adapt CRM-driven automation, including lead scoring models and buying signal tracking, to increase outreach efficiency and conversion.
- Leverage CRM data pools and behavioral triggers to enable tactical outreach at scale.
- You contribute to continuous improvement by sharing market feedback, identifying optimization opportunities, and testing new approaches in messaging, targeting, and process automation.
What we value in you:
- You have 3+ years of experience in project management in circular economy or waste management related fields, with a proven track record.
- A strong interest in sustainability and a desire to contribute to a meaningful mission that drives real impact.
- A target-first mindset – you are focused on delivering high-quality leads at the right volume, consistently and reliably.
- A strategic mindset combined with hands-on curiosity – you’re not just a prospector, but a thinker who understands customers, markets, and data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to spark interest, build trust, and create momentum in early-stage conversations.
- A collaborative spirit – you enjoy working cross-functionally with Marketing, RevOps, and Sales to align efforts and share insights.
- A data-driven way of working – you believe in CRM hygiene, understand the value of lead scoring, and enjoy refining processes and automation together with RevOps.
- The ability to manage multiple outreach motions simultaneously while keeping your pipeline structured and your CRM spotless.
- Proactivity, ambition, and energy – you thrive in a fast-paced environment and know how to turn ideas into action.
- Ideally first experiences in sales, business development, or a related commercial role – ideally in a B2B SaaS or tech environment.
